Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands. It is also the largest city.


Known as the "Venica of the north". Amsterdam`s canals aren`t only attractive, they are also a great way to travel around the city.


In this city, you can visit Rembrandt Square, which is popular and often crowded; De Gooyer Windmill that now is a charming brewery and a popular gathering place; and flower market that is the most famous in Holland where the tulips are sold.

Attractions in Madrid

Neptuno fountain

The fountain is located in the Cánovas del Castillo square.
When it was placed, firstly, looking towards the Cibeles.


The fountain was designed by Ventura Rodríguez. It was started in 1777 and it is made of marble of Montesclaros (Toledo).


Neptuno is located on a made of a shell chariot drawn by two sea horses. The God carries a trident in her left hand and a serpent of the sea wrapped in the right hand.


We can also see some dolphins swimming around the chariot. He is the God of the sea and all kinds of water.


The Atlético de Madrid club goes to this fountain to celebrate their titles.


Neptuno Fountain

San Miguel Markets

The San Miguel Markets is located in the square of the same name, next to the Plaza Mayor.

It was built between 1913 and 1916 by the architect Alfonso Dubé, inspired by other European markets made in iron to style of the Halles of Paris.

It has two floors and a surface area os 1200 square meters. His timetable is from Monday to Sunday, from 10 to 24.

There are 33 stands in those who sell fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, bread, flowers and there are bars too.
